Finance Business Partner (MSU Finance Controller)

Job Description

  • Works collaboratively with Manufacturing Sales Unit team to address their business goals, initiatives and projects, including but not limited to operation improvement, ROI evaluation and NPD project modelling.
  • Provides high-quality financial analysis and commentary for business performance reviews to support senior management making decisions for key business development opportunities
  • Works closely with business teams and FEC for financial planning, budgeting and operation matters across all operation regions.
  • Manages all aspects of budgeting, planning, and forecasting activities. Monitor budget execution and utilization. Perform evaluation on budget utilization and performance
  • Seeks opportunities to systematic solution targeting for efficiency, data accuracy and promptness.
  • Conducts decision-support analyses that provides real-time and accurate financial information draws insights from such analyses to make recommendations to the Management team, as well as relevant finance stakeholders
  • Gets hands-on and influence others in resolving issues and exploring new opportunities as they arise.
  • Supports any other ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in finance or relevant analytical field
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strong technical capabilities into commercial judgement
  • Independent and self-motivated in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment where new business initiatives are frequently introduced
  • Be comfortable with large volumes of complex data and presenting findings to management
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Curious in continuous learning and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with multi-functional teams to drive the alignment and actions
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English
  • Good know-how in MS Office and Power BI
